- With the Anesthesiologist’s approval,
your medical recruiter will present them to our
client.
- When our client accepts the Anesthesiologist
and contracts are signed, your medical recruiter
will assist with the credentialing process.
- National Anesthesia will assist the Anesthesiologist
in making the necessary travel arrangements to
get to the assignment.
- National Anesthesia then will arrange
for suitable, safe and clean housing.
- Your medical recruiter will stay in contact
with you during the Locum Tenens assignment.
- Prior to completion of assignment, your medical
recruiter will follow-up with the Anesthesiologist
regarding future Locum Tenens job opportunities.

- A medical recruiter will work with the Anesthesiologist
to develop a position profile.
- Using the profile as a guide, a medical recruiter
will discuss opportunities that conform to the
Anesthesiologist’s needs.
- National Anesthesia will arrange an initial
telephone interview.
- National Anesthesia will make arrangements
for an in-person interview.
- Your medical recruiter will negotiate with the
client on the Anesthesiologist’s behalf.
Your Role with National Anesthesia:
Locum Tenens Job Program
- When contacted by a medical recruiter, the Anesthesiologist
needs to indicate availability and interest in
specific Locum Tenens job opportunities.
- If interested, the Anesthesiologist will hold
time for National Anesthesia while he
or she is presented to our client and a decision
is made.
- Once the position is accepted, the Anesthesiologist
needs to honor their commitment by signing the
contract and completing the assignment.
- After the contract is signed, the Anesthesiologist
will work with a medical recruiter to complete
and return credentialing paperwork by assigned
deadlines.
- The Anesthesiologist should contact their medical
recruiter with any concerns before or during an
assignment.
- To receive reimbursement, the Anesthesiologist
needs to promptly submit an invoice/time sheet
to both National Anesthesia and the client
promptly.
- The Anesthesiologist can help National Anesthesia
provide the best service possible by notifying
us of any changes in situation, licensure and
availability.

- Identify what type of position, salary and geographic
location you are interested in.
- When interview (phone or in-person) arrangements
are made, honor your commitment and be prompt.
- Stay in touch with your medical recruiter so
they can negotiate with the client on your behalf.
- Provide your medical recruiter with a list of
hospitals/surgery centers that you have applied
to on your own. We will not contact those facilities.
